Goalkeeper Ofir Marciano has opened up on his dream move to the Premier League with time ticking down on his deal with Hibs.
The Israel cap is out of contract in the summer and is waiting until the summer before deciding if he wants to remain at Easter Road.
The 31-year-old is in talks with the club but boss Jack Ross admits there may come a point where they have to "draw a line" under negotiations and look for a new stopper.
The goalkeeper has now opened the door to leaving the capital side after five years with the club after the end of the Premiership campaign.
He told the Edinburgh Evening News said: “Only in the summer will I think further. I am happy in Europe and feel that I can take the next step.
“It’s a big statement, but I think I can play in the Premier League.
“People in the British Isles know my abilities, I have had five very good years in Scotland.
“I do not know if this is the best season of my career, but probably the most stable. I earn points, I have had a lot of good games.
“And it’s a strong league. The pace is crazy, it doesn’t stop for a moment.
"The level has gone up. There is more money, players prefer the Scottish league to the English lower leagues.”
