Offset crashes Cardi B's set at Rolling Loud festival with 'Take Me Back' signs

Migos rapper Offset crashed a performance by his estranged wife Cardi B at the Rolling Loud Festival in Los Angeles.

As the “Bodak Yellow” rapper took to the stage at the Banc of California Stadium, and was about to begin her set, Offset had several floral displays wheeled out that read the words “Take Me Back Cardi”.

Cardi, who was visibly uncomfortable during the incident, was seen to exchange words with Offset, before the props were wheeled offstage and she launched into her single “Money”.

She announced the split earlier this month in a video posted to Instagram. She said: “I’ve been trying to work things out with my baby father… we’re really good friends, we’re really good business partners and he’s always somebody I run to, to talk to, and we got a lot of love for each other.”

“But things just haven’t been working out between us for a long time, and it’s nobody’s fault, I guess we fell out of love. We’re not together anymore. It might take time to get a divorce and I’m always gonna have a lot of love for him because he is my daughter’s father.”

Cardi gave birth to the couple’s daughter, Kulture Kiari Cephus, in July. Commenting on the post, Offset wrote: “Y’all won.”

The bill for the two-day festival included Post Malone Lil Wayne, Lil Uzi Vert and 21 Savage. Cardi was the headliner on Saturday night.

Her debut album Invasion of Privacy received critical acclaim and broke several music industry records. The Independent recently named it as one of the best albums of 2018.
