Official Film Chart: Toy Story 4 inspires fans to return to earlier entries

This animated franchise really has the staying power.

Toy Story 4 being released in cinemas has inspired fans to return to the earlier series entries, with the original Toy Story (1995) making its Film Chart Top 10 debut at Number 6, Toy Story 3 (2010) entering the chart for the first time at Number 9, and Toy Story 2 (1999) landing just outside at Number 13.

How To Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World continues to be the King of the Official Film Chart, holding off new entry, Cold Pursuit, which arrives at Number 2 on digital downloads only.

The Liam Neeson thriller sees snow-plow driver Nels Coxman (Neeson) looking for answers for his son’s death, turning into an ice-cold vigilante.

Elsewhere, comedy Instant Family, climbs one place to Number 3, as Laurel & Hardy biopic Stan & Ollie and Queen biopic Bohemian Rhapsody both drop two places to Numbers 4 and 5 respectively.

Meanwhile, Aquaman rises three places to Number 7, while The LEGO Movie 2 drops two spots to Number 8.

Rounding off the Top 10, Green Book drops five places to Number 10.

This week’s chart show also features a clip of Brie Larson and Jude Law in Captain Marvel, available to Download & Keep from July 1, 2019.
