Gardai are enquiring after a shocking video emerged showing a sulky race on a Dublin motorway.
Gobsmacked motorists were left crawling behind after a cohort of people blocked off the N7 to clear the way for the horses to run.
Footage taken from the overhead bridge showed dozens of passengers hanging out windows as the two horses ran down the busy route.
The six cars followed the horses closely behind and took up all lanes leaving over 20 motorists crawl behind them.
Gardai in Rathcoole are aware of the video and have asked anyone with information to contact them.
A spokeswoman said: "Gardaí in Rathcoole are aware of the video being circulated on social media and enquires are ongoing at this time.
"If any persons are aware or have information in relation to the incident, please contact your local Garda station in relation to same."
