Officers 'increasingly concerned' for missing man last seen in Greater Manchester

Police are appealing for help finding a Wigan man who went missing earlier today. Gordon Harrison was last seen in Ashton-in-Makerfield at 10.10am this morning (April 3).

Greater Manchester Police says its officers are 'increasingly concerned' for Gordon's wellbeing. The force has issued an appeal on social media this afternoon and anyone who sees Gordon, or has information on his whereabouts, is urged to come forward.

A spokesperson for GMP said: "Can you help police find a missing man from Wigan? Gordon Harrison was last seen in the Ashton-in-Makerfield area of Wigan at around 10.10am on Monday, April 3 2023.

"He is described as white male, around 5ft 10ins, with dark hair, longer on top, medium build. He was last seen wearing a black/tan Superdry Coat with a fur hood, black cargo pants and carrying a black rucksack.

"Officers are becoming increasingly concerned about Gordon and want to make sure he is safe and well. Anyone with information about Gordon whereabouts should contact police on 101."
