Officers appeal for information after van stolen from outside Baillieston property

An appeal has been launched by Police Scotland after a van was stolen from a Baillieston property in Glasgow's east end .

The silver coloured Ford Transit van with the registration number WP62 YLL, is believed to have been stolen on Ellismuir Road between 9.15pm on Wednesday, 8 May and 9am on Thursday, 9 May.

Officers are now calling for anyone with information to come forward.

Constable Richard Lewis at Easterhouse Police Office said: "Officers have been carrying out enquiries to trace whoever is responsible for this theft including speaking to local residents and studying CCTV footage from the local area.

"I would ask anyone was in the area of Ellismuir Road between these times, who may have witnessed anything suspicious to contact us. Also I would like to hear from anyone who has seen this van since 8th May.

"Anyone with information that may assist our enquiry should contact Easterhouse Police Office through 101 quoting reference number 1183 of 9th May 2019. Alternatively Crimestoppers can be contacted on 0800 555 111, where anonymity can be maintained."
