A police officer has lost her driver's licence for 12 months after an alleged drink-driving crash in Melbourne's southwest.

The off-duty female constable allegedly hit a parked car on Barber Drive in Hoppers Crossing on Sunday evening.

The 20-year-old was taken to a nearby station and recorded an alleged evidentiary breath test reading of 0.133, more than two and a half times the legal limit of 0.05.

Her licence was suspended for 12 months and she is expected to be charged on summons with drink driving and other traffic offences.
