Office chair firm agrees new licensing partnership with premier racing organisation Mercedes-AMG

Office seating specialist noblechairs has agreed a new licensing partnership with the Mercedes-AMG Petronas Esports team.

The German company – whose only UK showroom is based at Overclockers UK in Newcastle-under-Lyme – has entered a pioneering collaboration with the racing organisation.

It has developed the EPIC Mercedes-AMG Petronas Motorsport Edition – a luxury gaming chair built for Formula 1 enthusiasts.

The chair boasts black faux leather seat covering, ‘Petronas’ green stitching and neck and lumbar pillows embroidered with the Mercedes-AMG Petronas Motorsport logo.

The gaming chair – which is now available to buy worldwide – will be installed at the Mercedes-AMG training facility at the Formula One team’s operations centre in Brackley, Northamptonshire.

Toni Sonn, founder at CEO at noblechairs, said: “noblechairs is delighted to announce this licensing partnership with the world’s premier racing organisation.

“noblechairs will provide the highest grade and ergonomically advanced seating for the team.

“This is exactly what noblechairs was set up to do, to create the ultimate seating experience, through the use of the highest-quality engineering and materials, for the restless few who shape the world.

“Both companies share a philosophy of striving for success, a pioneering spirit and the will to combine innovation with technological progress and design. This cooperation is the beginning of a true success story.”

noblechairs was founded in 2016 as an office seating specialist. It now has seven sites across Berlin, Portugal and the UK.

Its range of chairs are inspired by the world’s most luxury racing car seats and are designed for people who spend a long time in front of a computer.
