Offer now expired: See the award-winning show The 39 Steps at the Criterion Theatre for £20

The 39 Steps is an adventure novel by the Scottish author John Buchan. It's the first of five novels featuring his hero Richard Hannay.

The novel has been adapted for film on three occasions: Alfred Hitchcock's 1935 version, a 1959 colour remake and a 1978 version. There was also a 2008 version for British television.

The book has now been turned into a comedy show, where just four actors play more than 100 roles. The production, currently running at the Criterion in London's Piccadilly, won the Laurence Olivier Award for Best New Comedy. It features iconic scenes from the film such as The Chase on the Flying Scotsman, The Escape on the Forth Bridge and the Finale at the London Palladium.

Extra members can get the best available tickets for £20 every Tuesday in April and May.

The offer is valid until Tuesday 31 May.
