Asan N'jie's brawl with Jamie Lomas exploded after the Emmerdale star called him "Jamie big b******s", it's been claimed.
The Emmerdale star, who was yesterday sacked by the ITV soap over his conduct, taunted Jamie over an alleged financial dispute between the Hollyoaks actor and one of his own actor friends, according to reports
Since joining the cast of Hollyoaks, Asan has befriended the unnamed actor and considers him a close mate.
It's believed that is why he went up to Jamie at the awards ceremony on Monday night to taunt him over their shared connection.
"Asan went up to Jamie and started goading him, saying things like, 'Alright, Jamie big bollocks'," he's reported as saying before he started throwing a punch at 44-year-old Jamie.
Within moments the tense situation turned violent and both men had to be separated twice by security.
Asan was then escorted out of the Hilton Park Lane in London's upmarket Mayfair district while Jamie stayed on at the after-party until 2am.
After the Mirror published the shocking video of Asan threatening to stab Jamie with a knife, ITV suspended him from Emmerdale and launched a probe.
On Wednesday morning he joined soap bosses for crisis talks and was humiliatingly sacked, later being spotted in the car park being accompanied off the set by a female staffer.
