- Joanna Ball, MD of Ricochet, which produces The Repair Shop, confirmed they explained the decision to the family and returned the book.
- The joke books, which allegedly contained hand-drawn cartoons of topless women, were brought in by Mr Edmonds, who inherited them in Monkhouse's will.
- These are the same notebooks that were famously stolen from a BBC locker in 1995 and later recovered after Monkhouse offered a £10,000 reward.
