Offences were not committed at Pleasureland

On December 12, in an article about crime in Sefton, we wrongly stated that the Southport amusement park, Pleasureland, and its surrounding areas was the scene of a number of offences in the six months from May 1, 2020.

This was incorrect. The police have confirmed that Pleasureland had no recorded incidents during that period. We apologise for the error and any embarrassment caused.
