I'm currently in the air to Australia for the Sydney Marathon (I'm doing 10k - and you can sponsor my run for Melanoma Research, in honour of my uncle who died earlier this year, here) and to present at the Association of Internet Researchers conference in Brisbane. I'm also going to meet with some of the people doing games-related things at the ABC, but I openly admit that I'm hopelessly ignorant of what's going on in the gaming world in Oceania. I know that Aussie authorities are touchy when it comes to certain content, and are quick to ban. Otherwise, I need your help.
Can anyone tell me what's going on in the Australian games world? I will be checking in with the blog on a regular basis, so please do post your comments, suggestions and direction. Anything ordinary or extraordinary welcome!
