Wigan Athletic striker Kieffer Moore will be "on top of the world" for the Championship clash with Nottingham Forest on Sunday.
Forest visit the DW Stadium on Sunday as they look to maintain their position in the automatic promotion spots after an eye-catching start to the campaign.
The Reds have during which time Moore scored on his competitive debut for Wales in last week's European Championship qualifying draw with Slovakia.
He also impressed in another 1-1 draw on Sunday, against World Cup runners-up Croatia, and is likely to start for Wigan against Forest this weekend.
Moore is yet to get off the mark this season for Wigan, failing to find the net in nine League appearances.
But teammate Sam Morsy believes the Welshman's maiden international goal could be a catalyst, beginning against Forest.
"Obviously it was great for Kieffer to score for Wales the other night, and hopefully it'll give him a little bit of confidence," Morsy told the Wigan Post.
"He'll come back on top of the world, won't he, having done so well against some top defenders.
"Sometimes it just takes players time to settle in to a new club.
"But the one thing will do is stick with his players, he's loyal and he'll support them no matter what.
"Hopefully now Kieffer's off the mark for the season, he'll go on a little run, and we'll all feel the benefit."
