Off-the-field concerns may cause Titans to be wary of WR Antonio Brown

There’s hardly been a hotter name at wide receiver than Antonio Brown as the mid-March free agency period approaches, but it’s safe to assume the Tennessee Titans may be hesitant to add someone with Brown’s persona to the roster.

When Titans head coach Mike Vrabel met with the media at the 2019 NFL Combine on Wednesday, he stressed the importance of how players conduct themselves in a professional environment, and it sounds like that’s a concern of his when it comes to matters regarding Brown.

Robinson was asked about the possible acquisition of Brown by a reporter.

“We treat everybody fairly, but we treat them differently,” Vrabel said of the culture in Tennessee. “There’s some things you can put up with as a coach and a team, and there’s some things you can’t. I think that it’s important that any time you bring in somebody… you just have to make sure you know and are comfortable with what you’re getting.”

While Brown may instantly inject a new sense of energy into a gradually growing Titans offense, off-the-field concerns may prevent the Titans from getting into the mix on this one.
