Off-road E-bikers causing 'damage and distress' at Nottingham park

Police say off-road E-bikers are causing 'damage and distress' across a park in Nottingham.

In an appeal, police said they had seen an increase of reports of the vehicles being driven "erratically" around Bulwell Forest Recreation Ground and the surrounding area.

They added that it had caused damage to the field and golf course, as well as being a danger to members of the public.

The force has put out images, asking if anyone recognised the riders or their bikes.

A spokesperson for Nottinghamshire Police said: "There has been an increase of reports in regards to off road bikes / E-bikes driving erratically around the local area

"These bikes have been seen riding around Bulwell Forest Recreation Ground which has not only caused damage to the field and to the Golf Course, they are also a danger to members of the public who are using the facilities.

"The images are some of the bikes that have been involved in an incident which have caused alarm and distress to members of the public.

"If anyone recognises the bikes, or the riders, then please contact Nottinghamshire police on 101, quoting occurrence number 21000679159."
