Raina Morris, the girlfriend of Off Campus star Belmont Cameli, is begging fans to leave her family alone.
As Cameli, 28, has skyrocketed to fame with the success of Prime Video’s hit hockey romance, Morris was forced to call out fans for crossing a line.
“If you are a fan of my boyfriend: Yay! Please stop messaging my family members,” the comedian, 28, pleaded Tuesday on her Instagram Story. “They are so confused. Write in your diary and then go on a walk instead! Love u.”
In a second post, Morris shared a meme referencing a line from the sitcom Community where Gillian Jacobs’s character says, “I can excuse racism, but I draw the line at animal cruelty.” In her Story, Morris changed it to read: “I can excuse racism, but I draw the line at DMing my distant cousins.”
Cameli and Morris, a TV writer known for her work on Emily in Paris and Schmigadoon!, have been dating since March 2025.
The plea comes after Amazon Prime Video issued a message last month to fans of the show, which is based on Elle Kennedy’s book series.
“The Off Campus community is built on a shared love of storytelling—and on respect for the real people who bring it to life,” the statement said. “We ask that everyone in this space extend that respect to our cast and the people in their lives. Accounts that engage in targeted harassment will be removed from following our accounts.”
Fans of Off Campus have been extremely invested in the personal lives of Cameli and his 19-year-old costar Ella Bright as they play love interests Garrett Graham and Hannah Wells in the show, respectively.
However, some viewers became convinced that their on-screen chemistry should be explored in the real world too, which prompted Bright to shoot down any speculation of romance earlier this month during her podcast appearance on In Your Dreams with Owen Thiele.
“I totally get it, but it is so weird,” Bright said about the rumors about her and Cameli, whom she described as “literally my brother.”
She added, “Also, he has a perfect, beautiful, amazing girlfriend who is my angel on earth.”
In May, Morris and Bright put their friendship on display after fans pointed out that Morris had unfollowed Bright on Instagram. Morris then shared a screenshot of her texts with the actor and confirmed it was an accident, according to People.
“I hope TMZ doesn’t notice,” she wrote before sharing a selfie on her Instagram Story that said, “Leave me and my homegirl alone.”
Bright commented on the picture: “Please and thank you that’s my best friend.”
