Ofcom could investigate I'm A Celebrity after more than 600 complaints

I'm A Celebrity could face an Ofcom investigation after this year's series received hundreds of complaints.

The broadcasting watchdog has said 615 complaints were made in total over a number of issues.

Manchester Evening News has reported that 78 viewers were unhappy with the "unacceptable" use of "club foot" by campmate James Haskell.

Poking fun at Ian Wright, the 34-year-old had said: "He's completely lost the plot. Look at that club foot."

Other complaints were made about Ian and James' treatment of Andrew Maxwell, with some viewers believing they were bullying their co-star.

A spokesperson for Ofcom said the complaints were still being reviewed.

EastEnders actress Jacqueline Jossa beat fellow soap star Andy Whyment during Sunday night's (December 8) emotional final.

At the end of the series, a tearful Jossa said "I have no words" and reeled off a list of special people in her life including her parents, children and husband Dan Osborne.
