It has been a long time coming, but Miguel Almiron has finally scored for Newcastle United after netting against Crystal Palace.
The Paraguayan international broke the deadlock at St James' Park to give the Magpies victory , with Almiron firing home from 12 yards out for his first goal for the club in his 27th appearance.
Almiron has come close on occasion before, but has now finally broken his scoring duck, much to the relief of the player and Newcastle fans alike.
But his goal has got Crystal Palace fans talking, with his first goal coming against the Eagles.
And some Palace fans have been saying the same thing on social media, after Almiron's goal settled the contest in Newcastle's favour in the north east.
His goal made it a frustrating afternoon for the Eagles, who made a slow start in the north east, but had chances as the game wore on.
Roy Hodgson's men were unable to take any of them though, with Almiron's goal helping the Magpies to move above the Eagles in the Premier League table.
The Eagles drop to 12th in the table as a result.
