Former Celtic star Packie Bonner has revealed an Everton scout was in attendance to watch Odsonne Edouard against Kilmarnock on Sunday.
The Frenchman was on the scoresheet yet again in his side's 3-1 win over Killie as the Hoops stretched their lead at the top of the Premiership to 12 points.
Edouard has been in terrific form this season and his performances continue to attract attention from down south, with Record Sport exclusively revealing Leicester boss Brendan Rodgers is weighing up a summer move for the talisman.
And Celtic legend Bonner says Everton are also keeping a close eye on him. The Toffees talent spotter raved about Edouard and team-mate Callum McGregor to the former Parkhead keeper as they chatted before the match.
He told BBC Sportsound: "Celtic will probably have to sell one or two players in the summer.
"Edouard looks like he could be one. I was talking to one of the scouts from Everton who was here today.
"He's talking so highly of guys like McGregor and Edouard and they are attracting the attention of big clubs."
Celtic came from behind against the Ayrshire side to keep their impressive winning streak alive and extend their lead at the Premiership summit.
Eamonn Brophy scored a first half penalty before Kris Ajer, Edouard and Leigh Griffiths sealed all three points as Alan Power was sent off for the visitors.
It was a crucial win in the title race as Rangers slipped up in Perth as they drew 2-2 against St Johnstone.
And Edouard is looking to continue his hot streak against Copenhagen in the Europa League on Thursday.
