Odsonne Edouard has sent a message to 'legend' John Hartson following his departure from Celtic.
The France Under-21 international brought the curtain down on his four-year stay in Glasgow earlier this week but joining Crystal Palace in a deal that could eventually net the Hoops as much as £18million.
But it seems Edouard is keen to leave Parkhead on good terms after taking to social media to post his goodbyes to the club's fanbase - and one particular ex-player.
Hartson defended Edouard's decision to move to the Premier League, saying: "Odsonne Edouard will leave Celtic today, he was outstanding when we signed him for 9.5m from PSG.
"He was hungry to make an impact and boy did he make a big impact.. "is level of performance dropped dramatically overnight although bagged 29 goals last season.
"Good luck Eddy."
And his comments didn't go unnoticed, with the 23-year-old replying with a short but heartfelt message to the ex- Celtic hitman on Twitter earlier today.
Edouard has signed a four-year deal at Selhurst Park under compatriot Patrick Vieira and is expected to make his debut for The Eagles in their first fixture following the international break, which is at home to London rivals Tottenham Hotspur.
