Odsonne Edouard leads the Celtic social media party as he delivers two word message to critics

Odsonne Edouard led Celtic 's charge to victory on the Ibrox pitch before delivering another emphatic statement off it.

The striker was the coolest man in Glasgow as his composed finish set the Hoops on their way to a 2-0 win over Rangers .

Neil Lennon 's side hammered home a defiant message having been labelled underdogs in the build-up to the first derby of the season.

Jonny Hayes put the gloss on a well-earned victory to take Celtic three points clear at the Premiership summit.

Afterwards, Edouard rubbished the pre-match hype with a two-word Tweet that simply read: "Calm down".

He was joined on social media by countryman Olivier Ntcham.

The midfielder wrote: "No matter how, we won... Got the 3 points and take the leadership. The old Firm is always a special moment. #RANCEL #celtic #SPFL #football #derby #oldfirm #OldFirmDerby"

And then there was former Rangers midfielder Liam Burt, now in Celtic's development squad, who declared his love for the Hoops.

Burt signed a Parkhead deal earlier this summer after being released from Rangers' academy setup.

The result has seen bookies slash odds on Celtic winning a fabled 10 titles on the spin.

SFPL sponsors Ladbrokes put the reigning champions odds-on for a decade of dominance, having already secured eight on the trot.

The odds on  Celtic  win an unprecedented quadruple Treble have also been cut to 3/1.
