Odsonne Edouard hints at Celtic stay as he talks up 10 In A Row title tilt

Celtic striker Odsonne Edouard has dropped a big hint he’s staying in Glasgow as he points to his 10 in a Row target.

The striker was named the club's Player of the Year on Wednesday, after scoring 28 goals in all competitions last season.

It's next season Celtic fans are more concerned about, though, with the Parkhead faithful desperate to see the France U21 star commit as Neil Lennon 's side go for a historic 10th title in succession.

And the former Paris Saint-Germain youth has hinted he's on board for another title tilt as he discussed winning the award.

Edouard told Celtic TV: "Every season we want to win the title.

"This year is nine in-a-row, and next year I hope it is 10 in-a-row. This will be historic for the club.

“It’s very important for the club, for the fans, for the team, for all of the staff. We now need to go back to work for next season, and I hope that we can win this title for 10 in-a-row."

Celtic are back in training this week, and Edouard lifted the lid on his fitness regime during the coronavirus lockdown.

He said: "I’ve worked hard throughout lockdown. Working alone is not easy, but I’ve kept my fitness up and I look forward to getting back to training.

"As for season highlights, the goal at Ibrox back in September is one of my best goals of the season, scored in an important game. I’m happy about that, and now I want go back to working hard, to try and score again against Rangers.”
