Odsonne Edouard 'fee agreed' as Celtic star looks set for Crystal Palace switch

Celtic have agreed a fee with Crystal Palace over the sale of Odsonne Edouard, according to a report.

The French striker is in the final year of his contract and Crystal Palace want him to solve their striking issues.

Now it's looking more and more likely that Edouard has played his final game for Celtic and will leave the club over the next 24 hours.

The Frenchman has been impressive during his time in Glasgow but was believed to be looking to make an exit from the club last summer.

He was persuaded to stay in a bid to get 10 In A Row and has been heavily linked with a move away this summer after Celtic failed to meet that ambition.

And it's now likely he'll be one of two deadline day exits from Celtic Park with Ryan Christie also set to leave the club over the next 24 hours.

It's believed a fee of around £15m has been accepted by Celtic and Ange Postecoglou's men will allow him to leave the club.

Celtic are on the brink of bringing in Greek frontman Giorgos Giakoumakis from VVV-Venlo, and have also signed Kyogo Furuhashi in this window.
