Odsonne Edouard Celitc transfer fee structure 'revealed' ahead of Crystal Palace switch

Crystal Palace will pay £12million up front for Odsonne Edouard with the remainder of the £15million fee in add ons.

Celtic look set to finally cash in on the French striker after months of speculation and the Daily Mail claim that some of the cash they receive won’t come certain criteria are met.

Eagles boss Patrick Vieira has launched his bid to sign the France Under 21 after getting rave reviews from his nation’s football federation.

After being linked with the likes of Everton, AC Milan and Brighton over the course of the summer, Edouard looks set for South London.

He made his final hoops appearance in Sunday’s 1-0 Premiership defeat to rivals Rangers.

And the former Paris-SG man didn’t sign off in style. He was handed a starting role up front by Ange Postecoglou following an impressive cameo off the bench against AZ Alkmaar.

But Edouard spurned a wonderful chance to fire the visitors into the lead, missing an absolute sitter in the first half.

He turned a Kyogo Furuhashi ball well wide of the post from close range despite looking certain to break the deadlock.

The front man was eventually hooked by Postecoglou, who afterwards admitted it was a mistake to start Edouard through the middle and move Kyogo into a wider role.

It’s not one he’ll make agan with 23-year-old on his way out of Celtic Park.

And it’s expected he’ll be replaced by Greek hitman Georgios Giakoumakis.

Celtic have reportedly agreed a fee with VVV-Venlo for their top scorer and he should complete his switch at some point today.
