Edouard breaks silence after reported Gunners bid
Arsenal have reportedly made a £22.5m bid for Celtic striker Odsonne Edouard, and the Frenchman has now broken his silence.
Although not speaking about the reported bid directly, Edouard has tweeted for the first time since.
Edouard scored in Celtic’s 5-0 win over Ross County on Saturday afternoon, and he simply tweeted “67” to indicate the minute he scored.
Martinez reacts after Villa bid gets accepted
Arsenal and Aston Villa have agreed on a £20m move for goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez, and the shot-stopper has now reacted on his Instagram.
Birmingham Live are reporting that Martinez is on his way to Villa Park after the two clubs agreed on a deal for the Argentine.
Martinez took to social media following the reports of a deal being completed, posting an image of him and his son.
It was clear that the Arsenal shot-stopper wasn’t giving too much away ahead of his proposed move.
Arsenal’s next four signings planned
With Martinez set to go to Aston Villa, and Arsenal set to pocket £20m, the Gunners already have their next four signings planned out.
David Raya has been linked with a move to the Emirates Stadium to replace Martinez, and the Gunners are targeting at least one more midfielder - with Thomas Partey repeatedly talked about.
Another midfielder, Houssem Aouar, reportedly wants to move to the Premier League from Lyon.
Finally, perhaps the most important bit of business may be getting Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to sign a new contract at the club.
