Odsonne Edouard has responded to Frank McAvennie's claim he looks disinterested at Celtic.
The Frenchman was subject to critcism from the Hoops hero for his performances in pre-season.
McAvennie said: "They are still talking about Edouard going. It is incredible.
“When I watched Edouard the other day he looked a wee bit disinterested. Like he did not want to be there.
“Maybe he is just a big game player and he is just getting the minutes in. Maybe he needs crowds.
“I would watch this space with Edouard. Everybody has a price. If somebody offers above their valuation you have got to take it.
“I have not seen enough from Edouard in pre-season.
"I know it is just pre-season but I have not seen anything that suggests that he is up for this. This is a massive season.”
But the forward showed he was back to his brilliant best as he scored a hat-trick for the Hoops in dominant win to open the Premiership season.
And Edouard responsed to McAvennie's claim in perfect fashion.
He said: "Edouard doesn't look interested" with three football emojis to signify his hat-trick performance against Hamilton.
