BHUBANESWAR: Most places in interior areas and coastal pockets are likely to receive light to moderate rainfall on Wednesday and Thursday, according to an IMD forecast on Tuesday.
There would be also yellow warning of heavy rainfall at isolated places in 11 districts on Wednesday and four districts on Thursday.
Such rainfall will be due to a low pressure area that persists over southern parts of Gangetic West Bengal and its neighbourhood, said Umashankar Das, scientist of IMD, regional centre, here. Das said rainfall activity for that low pressure area would decrease in the state by Saturday.
