BHUBANESWAR: The higher education department on Tuesday issued a notification for admission into degree (Plus III ) courses in different colleges of the state.
The admission will be in online mode through the Students Academic Management System (SAMS) portal. Students can participate in the admission process by submitting an online Common Application Form (CAF) available on the portal.
The admission process will start from 11am on August 20, while the last date to apply is 11.45 pm on September 4, 2021.
The first merit list will be published at 11 am on September 9. Students eligible as per the first list will have to deposit the fees through the SAMS portal between September 9 and 14.
After the selection process and deposit of fees, students will report to the allotted institutes to complete the admission process between September 11 and September 15.
The second merit list will be released on September 21. Eligible students will have to deposit the fees at the SAMS portal from September 21 to 24. The admissions of students selected through the second merit list will be completed by September 25.
For filling up of the vacant seats after the two merit lists, guidelines will be issued by the higher education department, official sources said.
