Odisha: 10 students, 2 teachers test Covid positive in Saintala school

BALANGIR: Ten students and two teachers of the Red Cross School for Deaf and Mentally Retarded at Saintala in Balangir district tested positive for Covid on Saturday.

The infected have been isolated and outsiders have been barred from visiting the school. All the patients are stable, said Chandramani Nag, BDO, Saintala.

On Saturday, a student suffering from fever suddenly felt uneasy and was rushed to Saintala CHC. He tested positive and also has a low haemoglobin level. He was shifted to Bhima Bhoi Medical College and Hospital and admitted to its Covid care centre.
