Odion Ighalo tells Manchester United fans how Paul Pogba has been training

The return of Paul Pogba and Marcus Rashford has helped Manchester United's squad find top gear in training, according to Odion Ighalo.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side are preparing for the resumption of the Premier League later this month, after all games were suspended due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The hiatus has given the likes of Pogba and Rashford the chance to make full recoveries from their injuries and Solskjaer is likely to have a full squad to choose from when United return against Spurs this month.

The Nigerian, as well as talking about his decision to stay at United, lifted the lid on the training sessions that are taking place.

“Everybody is looking good,” he told United's official website. “Running, working hard and playing football. Little two-a-sides and doing some ball work. Everyone is getting better and better.

“Everyone is back, even Paul is back training normally and Rashy is back training as normal. Everyone is training normally and training full and all that, so the squad is full and everyone is ready, I think."

After the lengthy and unexpected break, United's players are just excited to return to action as they look to seal a top four finish. Solskjaer's men are also still in the FA Cup and Europa League.

“I can't wait for the league to start again," added Ighalo. "I'm really looking forward to it. We did mention today there could be 15-16 games left before the season is finished and I know everybody should be ready because no matter who starts the game, we know everybody is going to take part in the games.

"So we have to be ready, physically and mentally, because everybody is going to get a chance. We're working hard and I believe we're going to do great.”
