Odion Ighalo Manchester United goal streak continues with stunning volley in Europa League vs LASK

Odion Ighalo's hot streak continues for Manchester United as the Nigerian striker added another goal to his collection with the Red Devils.

Ighalo, starting in place of the injured Anthony Martial against LASK in Austria, showed great control before expertly volleying home from the edge of the area to put United ahead just before the half-hour mark.

The 30-year-old forward sealed a dream move to Old Trafford during the January transfer window on loan from Chinese Super League side Shanghai Greenland Shenhua.

Ighalo, a boyhood United fan, revealed that he willingly took a pay cut to spend the rest of the 2019/20 season on loan with the Red Devils, and has now scored four goals for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side.

The former Watford striker was brought in as a target man given Marcus Rashford's long-term back injury, and got off the mark in United's 5-0 Europa League win over Club Brugge on 27 February.

Ighalo followed that up with two goals in United's 3-0 FA Cup win at Derby County a week later, with his fine volley in Austria the latest strike as his United dream continues.

Solskjaer has hinted that it is up to Ighalo to convince him to make his move permanent. More goals like the one against LASK, and United could have a big decision to make this summer.
