Odell Beckham stops social media hiatus to insist he’s over Giants

Earlier this week, Cleveland Browns wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. shared a post on Instagram that suggested he would be “going dark” on social media until he returned for the start of training camp in July.

That post has since been deleted as Beckham’s hiatus lasted less than three days.

The superstar receiver was back at it on Saturday night, unloading during his latest tweet storm about his God-given abilities and how absolutely certain he is that he’s moved on from the New York Giants.

After “moving on,” Beckham sent out 10 more tweets, including one that was a clear reference to the Giants and general manager Dave Gettleman.

Beckham’s tweets then became a bit more erratic as he told fans to take up their issues with God instead of him despite repeatedly replying to comments that seemed to rub him the wrong way.

Beckham made one final reply to a fan, saying there’s no bad blood over what “they” (see: the Giants) call a business before rounding out his tweet storm and taking off until the next one — something that will undoubtedly come over the next several days or weeks.

All in all, it’s just your average day in Beckham land where “social media silence” means “a storm is brewing” and “I’m over it” means “I can’t stop talking about it.”

Cleveland certainly is getting the full Odell experience early on, and it’s only a matter of time before some questionable videos begin popping up and the on-field antics get underway.

Eventually, Beckham really will take a page from the Giants and simply move on, but contrary to the tale he’s trying to spin, he’s clearly still feeling quite emotional from the trade and isn’t quite ready to simply let it go.
