The professional bookmakers have taken notice of the Cleveland Browns, and they like what they see. Oddsmakers have reacted quickly to the major moves made by Browns GM John Dorsey, notably the bombshell trade to acquire star wideout Odell Beckham Jr. on Tuesday.
One sportsbook, the Westgate in Las Vegas, quickly moved the Browns odds to win the next Super Bowl from 25-1 to just 14-1 in the immediate hours after the announcement of the trade with the Giants. That’s a radical change in such a breakneck pace for an odds swing so dramatic.
The Action Network notes the Browns have had the greatest improvement of Super Bowl LIV odds since the end of the season. They began the offseason at 50-1. Only four teams (Patriots, Saints, Chiefs, Rams) now have better odds to win than Beckham, Baker and the Browns.
