Odell Beckham Jr. told Aqib Talib that he made sure not to wear a chain against him

Odell Beckham Jr. came to Sunday night’s game against the Los Angeles Rams prepared to take on Aqib Talib. And by that, I mean he kept all his jewelry in a secure location.

You may remember back in 2017 when Talib grabbed Michael Crabtree’s chain right off his neck. That moment has unofficially been credited as the start of Crabtree’s career decline. (He was released on Monday by the Arizona Cardinals).

Well, Talib was mic’d up for Sunday’s game, and the Rams made sure to share some in-game banter between Beckham and Talib. Beckham greeted Talib and told him that he didn’t wear his chain for the game.

Talib needed Beckham to repeat what he said, but when it registered with him, the Rams cornerback had a good laugh.

And that wasn’t the only piece of jewelry missing from Beckham. He opted to not wear his six-figure watch during the game, but he did warm up pregame with it.

He couldn’t give Talib any ideas.
