Browns wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. ended his self-imposed social media hiatus to pay tribute to a Cleveland-area teen who was killed last week in a tragic accident.
Beckham joined a cacophony of voices paying tribute to Pat Green, a recent Rocky River High School graduate. Green was killed last Thursday in an ATV accident on Put-in-Bay, a resort island in Lake Erie. He was an all-state punter for the Rocky River football team and a lifelong Browns fan.
Beckham expressed his condolences on his Twitter feed and offered kind words to the Green family. It’s a nice gesture from a newcomer to Northeast Ohio.
