Odell Beckham Jr. compared himself to the new kid in school after his second practice session during the Cleveland Browns minicamp. But Beckham is also aware he’s the new kid who comes with a big reputation to live up to in his new environment.
After making several impressive catches from Baker Mayfield at the indoor practice facility as the rain poured outside, Beckham fielded a barrage of questions from a throng of reporters hanging on his every word. Beckham is a man comfortable in his own skin and in front of a camera.

“I do see a lot of potential with this team, and not even just because I’m here. I really feel it, and I feel something in the air, something special that Cleveland hasn’t had for a while. On ironing out timing and communication issues with Mayfield,
“The good news is we play in September (laughs). We’ve got a lot of time to build chemistry. We can both be in L.A., that’s where he stays at and pretty much be throwing every single day going over all the plays, all the little nuances.”
