With that one tweet, new Cleveland Browns wideout Odell Beckham Jr. simultaneously ended his self-imposed social media hiatus and sent the Cleveland sports scene into a frenzy.
Beckham’s new avatar features himself in a Browns No. 13, and his message channels Baker Mayfield’s now-famous tagline, “woke up feeling dangerous” from his epic win over the Atlanta Falcons.
Beckham stepped out of the limelight for a bit following the trade to Cleveland from the New York Giants. It was an uncharacteristic move for the attention-loving wideout and came in conjunction with speculation he was angling for a new contract with the Browns.
It’s good to have Beckham back and tipping his hat to his new teammate.
