Free agency hasn’t even finished yet and the 2020 NFL Draft is still weeks away but that isn’t stopping oddsmakers from taking a look at this upcoming season. BetMGM has put up their odds for regular-season wins and the over/under for the Baltimore Ravens is currently set at 11 wins in 2020.
If you were to bet $100 that the Ravens would win more games, you’d get a payout of $95 on top of your bet. If you think Baltimore will struggle a little more and get fewer wins in 2020, a $100 bet would pay out $87.
Baltimore has the second-highest total, with the Kansas City Chiefs currently set at 11.5 wins. That lines up well with BetMGM’s odds to win the AFC and Super Bowl LV, with the Chiefs having the best odds and the Ravens sitting in second.
While the odds will undoubtedly change prior to kickoff in Week 1, there’s plenty of reason to believe Baltimore will once again do well in 2020 after posting a 14-2 record last season.
They’ve used the early stage of free agency to completely revamp their defensive line, adding Derek Wolfe and Calais Campbell. The hope is the Ravens’ defense will be able to shut down rushing attacks better than they did last season while getting a better interior pass rush to help outside linebacker Matthew Judon. With the wide receiver class in the 2020 NFL Draft being historically deep, Baltimore will likely select additional weapons for quarterback Lamar Jackson and the Ravens’ top-scoring offense.
If you’re the betting type, getting in on these odds now might get you a better payout.
