Odds slash on Ross from Friends to become next James Bond

Odds have slashed on David Schwimmer becoming the next James Bond.

The actor, known for playing Ross from Friends, has become an outside bet to land the 007 role.

The 53-year-old recently said he would "jump at the chance" to take over from Daniel Craig after the upcoming film No Time To Die.

And punters have backed the TV star to get the gig, as odds have gone down to 100/1 from 250/1.

Sarah Kinsella, spokesperson for BoyleSports said: "There are more likely contenders for the James Bond role, but David Schwimmer has shown interest and that is more than can be said for most of the runners high up in the betting.

"The Friends star is 100/1 from 250/1 but James Norton still looks the more obvious choice at 13/8."
