Bertie Ahern is the latest name to be thrown into the Dancing With The Stars hat as punters have shown interest in watching him waltz onto the dancefloor.
The former taoiseach has been busy bringing about a vote for independence in Papua New Guinea, but a stint in some glitter and tight pants might be on the cards if the latest betting is anything to go by.
Bertie is now 5/1 from 20/1 to take part on the dancing show as the rumours continue as to which Irish celebrities will boogie onto the famous dancefloor.
The momentum for the former Fianna Fail leader follows a surge in support for Dana to take to the dancefloor.
The Eurovision icon was backed during the week to take part in the next series of Dancing with the Stars following her documentary on RTE for the 50th anniversary of her Eurovision success.
The former politician saw her odds tumble into 5/1 from 12/1 after some punters requested odds on the 1970 Eurovision winner.
Other rumoured contestants are Ray D’Arcy (5/4) and Donncha O’Callaghan (5/4).
