Occupational health and wellbeing specialist PAM Group to create 100 jobs

An occupational health and wellbeing specialist has announced plans to create 100 new jobs.

Warrington-headquartered PAM Group has launched a recruitment to meet what it has described as an increasing demand for its services and to aid its further growth.

The roles are being created across the group’s operations, including clinicians, managers, client services and sales.

The group currently employs 700 people across the country and posted a revenue of £45m in 2022.

It is expected to increase its revenue to £55m during 2023 and is targeting £80m in the coming years through continued organic expansion and acquisitions.

PAM Group has been backed by private equity firm LDC since 2021 after it bought a minority stake.

The group has clinics in Birmingham, Blackburn, Chester, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Hull, Immingham, Manchester, Milton Keynes, Elgin, Doncaster, Norwich, Oxford, Southampton, London, Warrington, Newcastle and Folkestone.

Founder and chief executive James Murphy said: "There is more focus by UK employers on workplace wellbeing support and occupational health, and this has resulted in an influx of new business for PAM Group.

"This means our team is set to grow substantially during 2023, to cater for this increase in demand for our services.

"Alongside this, we are mindful that colleagues across the group are being impacted by rising inflation and energy costs. It is therefore the right time to be making a significant investment to improve the salaries, benefits and rewards for our staff.

"Our team is pivotal to the ongoing success of the business, and we want to encourage and reward people for their efforts in ensuring we continue to deliver great service to our clients."
