'Obviously' - What reported Nottingham Forest transfer target Morgan Fox has said about his future

The latest piece of transfer gossip at Nottingham Forest has seen the Reds linked with a move for Sheffield Wednesday defender Morgan Fox .

Forest are one of a number of Championship clubs credited with an interest in the left-back, with Derby County, West Bromwich Albion, Huddersfield Town and Blackburn Rovers all name checked.

Fox was part of the Wednesday side that beat Forest 4-0 at the City Ground at the weekend, with the 26-year-old playing the full 90 minutes at left-back for the Owls.

After progressing through the youth ranks at Charlton Athletic, and a loan spell at Notts County, Fox moved to Hillsborough in January 2017.

He quickly established himself as Wednesday’s first-choice left-back, and has racked up 88 appearances during his time with the Owls.

Fox’s current deal at Wednesday expires at the end of the season, and it remains to be seen whether Fox will remain at Hillsborough beyond January

Back in October, the full-back admitted that his future at the club is not in his control, but does he want to stay with the Owls?

“Obviously, I have only got until the end of the season late and it is out of my hands really,” Fox told the Sheffield Star back in October.

He added: “I am happy here and as long as I am in the team playing football, then I am going to be. But I always give my most, that's all I can do.”
