Time magazine, displaying a well-tuned instinct for the obvious, has named President-elect Barack Obama its Person Of The Year for 2008. What's more unexpected, however, is the superb gallery of never-before-seen Obama photos that accompanies their piece.
For anyone even mildly intrigued by the election night Flickr gallery that the Obama transition effort released last month, these pictures are definitely worth a look. The confident, flirtatious, mysterious image they project are yet more evidence that -- despite Obama's newfound caginess -- Americans have elected themselves a pretty compelling commander-in-chief.
