Barack Obama’s onetime officials photographer Pete Souza has built a post-White House career by using his images to troll Donald Trump.
The man with more than one million followers on Instagram and a book deal in the works, has used his catalogue of photographs to poke fun at everything from Mr Trump’s team’s reported inability to locate light switches in the White House, to the president’s alleged lack of solid achievements during the first 100 days of his term.
After word emerged that Mr Trump had fired Mr Comey, Mr Souza posted an image on social media that showed the FBI Director sitting in the White House with Mr Obama.
“Every person in this photograph is a patriot,” he wrote, beneath the image, which quickly earned 20,000 likes.
Also in the photograph was Mr Obama's chief homeland security and counterterrorism adviser Lisa Monaco, former national intelligence director James Clapper and Obama's former White House chief of staff Denis McDonough.
