Oasis are returning to Wembley yet again, as the iconic British band continue their triumphant return tour after a 16-year hiatus.
Two weeks after playing for crowds in Mexico City, Noel and Liam Gallagher are heading to the UK capital to play two further sold-out shows on September 27 and 28.
But what can fans expect to hear from Oasis during their upcoming gigs? Fortunately, previous shows can provide a solid indication of what to expect.
Walking on stage to a playback of their fourth studio album’s opener, F***in’ in the Bushes, the first song fans heard the band play live together at earlier shows was Hello, with the fitting lyrics: “It’s good to be back.”
The majority of the songs on the set come from the band’s first two studio albums, as well as their renowned B sides from the same era. Just two songs feature from third album Be Here Now, while 2002 single Little by Little — from fifth album, Heathen Chemistry — is the latest they go into their back catalogue.
That comes after two other Noel-led songs, the acoustic B-sides Talk Tonight and Half the World Away.
The band have been leaving the stage after playing Rock ‘n’ Roll Star, to return for a four-song encore, ending with the epic Champagne Supernova.
Here is what Oasis played on the first two nights of their Wembley Stadium gigs this summer, and what fans can expect this weekend.
