Oasis guitarist Bonehead reveals Glasgow is his favourite place to perform

Oasis guitarist Paul 'Bonehead' Arthurs has revealed that Glasgow is his favourite place to perform.

Bonehead, who is best known as the rhythm guitarist, occasional keyboardist, and co-founder of the Wonderwall hitmakers, was answering questions from fans online when he revealed his love of the Scottish city.

The band were first discovered by Scots music mogul Alan McGhee when they played a gig at King Tut's in 1993.

Asked by one follower: "What was your favourite gig or venue when you played in oasis?"

He replied: "Any in Glasgow."

Fans agreed and were delighted by his choice.

One said: "Well said son. Any band that doesn't want to play Glasgow Barrowlands needs educated. Best venue out there."

Another added: "Elite choice. You and Liam were biblical at TRNSMT festival. I’ll see you at the front at Hampden!"

Someone else responded: "Can you remember playing Balloch Loch Lomond? What an atmosphere best gig ever..."

Other asked : "What song would you really love for Liam to sing at Knebworth next year?"

The guitarist replied: "Boneheads bank holiday with me on lead vocals."

And another asked: "Hi bonehead! What's the best part about being Liam's friend?"

Bonehead replied: "Liam."

When one person cheekily asked: "What was the largest amount of Gear you saw Liam do in one session? We all want to know,"

Bonehead couldn't resist an equally cheeky answer as he said: "2 parkas, 4 pairs of Clark’s and 8 marks and spencer jumpers. Hell of a night."
