ST. LOUIS _ After squandering a 2-0 lead in the third period, Ryan O'Reilly's goal 34 seconds into overtime gave the Blues a 3-2 victory over Toronto and a franchise record 11th consecutive victory.
It was O'Reilly's 23rd goal of the season and it came on a two-on-one break with Vladimir Tarasenko on his left wing.
The Blues improved to 32-22-5; Toronto fell to 36-20-3.
The Maple Leafs carried over their second-period momentum in the third and tied the game 2-2 on goals by Zach Hyman and Auston Matthews just 31 seconds apart.
Hyman's goal, which followed a Blues turnover deep in their own zone, ended St. Louis' defensive scoreless streak at 233 minutes 50 seconds. That's the second-longest scoreless streak in franchise history, exceeded only by the 258:30 without allowing a goal in the 2015-16 season.
The Blues had four consecutive shutouts in March of that season.
Matthews then made it 2-2 on a tip-in that went in off his skate at the 7:05 mark of the third. It was his 28th goal of the season and his first point in six games against the Blues.
Goals by Jaden Schwarttz and Colton Parayko gave the Blues a 2-0 lead after one period.
