New Zealand The White Lotus superstar Morgana O’Reilly has weighed in on the rumours surrounding the show’s alleged behind-the-scenes feuds.
While most fans are obsessed with the jaw-dropping storylines of The White Lotus — with this year’s shenanigans featuring some full frontal dong and an incestual sub-plot — season three has been rife with rumours of behind-the-scenes tensions amongst cast members.
To give you a quick rundown of all these spicy rumours, it all began when Jason Isaacs (who played Timothy Ratliff in season three) revealed that “friendships were made and lost” during filming in an interview with Vulture. From there, The White Lotus composer Cristóbal Tapia de Veer announced he’d quit the show ahead of the show’s fourth season, citing creative differences with producers and showrunner Mike White.

On top of that tea, there were also rumours of a feud between Walton Goggins and Aimee Lou Wood, who played lovers in the viral third season. However, rumours of that feud have been quashed in a joint interview with Variety.
And now, Morgan O’Reilly, who played Pam, a hotel employee at The White Lotus Thailand, who is tasked with assisting the Ratliff family, has spoken out about these sneaky tidbits of gossip, admitting that it’s “not all peaches and roses”.

Speaking to Stellar, O’Reilly revealed that despite rumours of behind-the-scenes drama, the cast became quite tight-knit during filming.
“When you’re working together, it’s not all peaches and roses,” the Wentworth star shared.
“But nobody’s screaming at each other. If you lived with people for six months, you’d be like, ‘Oh, that person’s getting a bit annoying’.
“That’s probably the extent of it. Otherwise, it was always just such lovely vibes.
“Everyone was such consummate professionals, and nobody’s there being a diva or demanding more than other people. Everyone was beautiful, respectful and kind.”

Alongside quashing those rumours, O’Reilly admitted that appearing on the show has opened her up to more opportunities.
“People are so nice to me now,” she dished.
“Not that they weren’t before… but there’s language in our industry which suggests a finish line, which is fictional. This idea that ‘you’ve made it’, that’s not real. You haven’t made anything. You haven’t finished. It’s all tides on the beach.
“But after doing that show, I felt maybe that has unlocked a special bonus round.”
While there have been a lot of murmurs about these tiffs between stars, it looks like the BTS drama is just like The White Lotus itself. Fictional.
But hey, if you’re craving that messy, resort, rich people kind of tea, we are glad to confirm that The White Lotus season four will be happening.
When? We’re not sure, but I can tell you we’re already fanging for it.
