WELLINGTON (Reuters) - The Reserve Bank of New Zealand (RBNZ) is widely expected to hold its cash rate at 1.75 percent when it reviews monetary policy on Thursday, a Reuters poll of economists found.
All 18 economists predicted the RBNZ would stand pat when it releases its decision on Sept. 27. All but one analyst expect the bank to hold rates at 1.75 percent - where it has been for nearly two years - until the end of the third quarter of 2019.
Six of the 18 economists forecast at least one rate hike by the end of 2019.
